[earn] Nigeria has been a third world country for too long not because it cannot emancipate itself from underdevelopment but because the very people who should lead the emancipation are holding it's neck from breathing, the corrupt political, religious and traditional rulers of the country.

Nigerians often pray for higher powers to intervene in helping to fix country's leadership crisis. Over six decades now the prayers haven't worked, instead, the situation keeps getting worse per year. How? The past two successively elected President of Nigeria have been disastrous.
The current President Tinubu who was declared president a year ago has in 12months helped sunk the country in deeper economic woes, unleashing massive poverty, chaos and oppressions untold to the populace including children and legal minors. Few days ago, over 50 children were about to be prosecuted for a supposed "treason" for expressing their hunger in their children's way.

This and many more reasons raises the questions in the mind of all Nigerians what President Trump's presidency might mean for Nigeria and Tinubu's possible 2027 ambitions.
The supreme of Nigeria ruled in favor of Tinubu after it was clearly proven that he forfeited $400k heroine traffick related proceeds to US government many years ago to avoid going to jail. A crime that prevents someone from becoming Nigeria President. [earn] Also, it was proven he forged and falsified some of his educational documents. Despites all these, the judiciary, against clear constitutional provisions, ruled in his favor as Nigeria's President. Many Nigerians believe this was purely as a result of President Joe Biden's support of his ambition, to be able to control his policies. Nigeria's foremost investigative journalist as well as notable best selling author, Chimamanda Adichie holds this same believe.

What would Trump do differently? Many still believes that if his being Nigeria's President benefits Trump in any possible way better than another person's would have been, then the support will remain, otherwise, he (Tinubu) is on his own now.
